The push for women’s rights is failing. Human rights authorities have declared that women’s rights are as bad as they were 25 years ago, and funding to advance women’s equity has been found to be profoundly ineffective.
From today, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women to Human Rights Day on 10 December, Women’s March Global is mobilising to ensure that women’s voices are heard.
To tell the story and kickstart the campaign, we’re asking YOU to share a video or photo outlining statistics about violence against women from your region, and then saying: “It is time for us to redefine how institutions are working toward gender equity. We must be counted.” Use this form to submit your video or photo contribution.
We’ll be using your videos and photos on social media and on our website to underscore the need for global progress on these pressing issues, and to ensure that our voices are heard. Join Us.
